Thing is, I tried The Ordinary first as the price point was great and I didn’t get dinged with duties and US conversion since they ship within Canada. I found the products ok but nothing to write home about.

Drunk Elephant is also pretty messy tbh. They just got caught posting shit comments on Glossier’s Instagram because whoever was posting forgot to log out of their personal account 😬

I am an Ordinaries fanatic- it is the only way I can afford to have a full skin regimen and learn what works for me through trying different things. I love the caffiene solution for eyes, the buffet and aha serums, and especially the vitamin c solution. Deciem also has a line of body products including an argan oil

Uh, I was pretty thoroughly steeped in Catholicism as a child and teenager and hadn’t heard of this shit. What a circus!

Adult rabbits, stewed in white wine, mushrooms, carrots, and leaks, were basically my favorite food ever growing up. My mother would make it whenever she could find rabbit, which was not so easy when we moved to the US. She found an old Mennonite at a farmer’s market last year who sells rabbit and could not stop

Did the rabbit use its buck teeth to do the damage? Serious question, because I don’t think rabbits have claws, do they?

The lie has been perpetuated since 1936, when a German geneticist...

I’m torn because I want more details (how?!?) but I also probably don’t want more details.

I’m using the Neogen peeling pads in conjunction with the Cosrx Snail Mucin and my skin has never looked better.

Damn! Can I ask how? I can’t visualize what a rabbit would do to a cat, except kicking it I guess. Their mouths look so small, but I’ve never really looked at one up close.

I also love DE! But I don’t use all of their products all the time, just the serums. I am a big fan of Jordan Samuel for more affordable options that are IMO just as good quality or better. (Jordan is an esthetician, so I really trust his years of experience actually working with people’s skin.)

I had this exact convo with my boss yesterday. I don’t do scary movies. Especially after knowing what the movie is about.

I’m not turning my back on affordable skincare because their CEO is a loon. We would literally have to live off the land if we boycotted companies with shitty CEO’s.

It is available to rent, streaming on Prime for $ and streaming on HBO

FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for you guys to get in on this crazy shit.

Also going to s/o Paula’s Choice as a quality alternative. Way better smelling too

Admittedly, I *do* try to take care of my skin. And, although I don’t buy the super-expensive stuff, I generally spend more than I should on face creams/serums/oils. (It is truly mostly genetics and staying out of the sun.) But I got a kick out of this article the other day:

Word salad

I adore The Ordinary. The products are truly amazing and comparable (sometimes better) than high-end stuff I’ve used in the past. This nonsense is cray, and I’ve just ignored it. That’s getting more difficult when he decides to be racist. It just seems like he needs help. But I still trust their manufacturer integrity
