Thanks yeah I am trying to do something like that a personal anecdote on community involvement and how that translates to my interest in public policy. Its just not flowing as usual.

your stuff is consistently amazing pie-pie:) and I’m so excited to see the craft thread :D I haven’t been awake late enough for soo long. This week I went back to work after my sick leave and haven’t had as much time for knitting. I managed a couple small projects (both gifts).

Yes! I started following her this afternoon!

HAHAHAHA omg it does. Better than a “kick me” sign? Lol.

This is a common reaction because like you said, people feel validated if they picked up on something previously.

Thank you so much - I agree. It’s why we in Honduras were so mad that Trump’s State Department was encouraging protests for free speech in Iran while they backed a dictator in Honduras.

Since Jezebel hasn’t noticed it, do any Canadian Jezzies want to talk about the Patrick Brown thing?

Thank you for this information. It’s important to pay attention — and I”ll pass this along in my channels, too. The resistance needs to be global.

I think Melbourne must be one of the most expensive cities in the world. Property prices here are insane. My rent is actually quite cheap for the neighbourhood, believe it or not.

I really like Sephora’s Lashcraft Length and Volume mascara! It’s $5 for a travel size and $12 for a full, so not too pricey. It doesn’t flake off on me and I typically wear it through a day of work, gym, etc. I also have straight lashes though, and I’ve always had to curl them, never had success with curling

I struggled to conceive my first for 2 years. My only advice is to focus on the proactive things you are doing now. I never had miscarriages but I did have those spiraling moments when I would think about what if this doesn’t work and that doesn’t work and we end up out thousands of dollars and no baby and my husband

aw Maya! I haven’t been around much lately but I remember you talking about your super shitty ex a few months back, and how you landed in this situation so I’m so happy to hear you got a place!! you can get essential furniture cheap from people online I bet, and then slowly add in the nonessentials. Yay!

deleted — someone else posted about same topic while I was drafting my post.

When I separated from the Marines I moved to Vegas for a job and I didn’t have any furniture. I stayed for a couple of months in a furnished apartment/hotel type place while I was saving up and looking for an apartment (I didn’t want to only look online without knowing the area, etc). It’s only now, like 4 years

Honduras’s democracy died today. We have a newly installed dictator, backed by the US. People are out in full force, and getting shot at.

This is the worst state to be in. I was feeling like this for ages and caved and got on anti anxiety/antidepressants + got a kitten (both help the same amount tbh). idk if your situation warrants that or if you should just tune out the news for a week and take a few days off to cuddle your puppy. winter also makes

You can always ask if he’s see a therapist if you made the appointment? See what he thinks would work for him and try to find someone or someone’s who a good fit.

You look like you’re attaching it to the child in that photo there but nice work all the same Pie.

I babysat a 2-year-old twice this week without crying once. By which I mean that I did not cry. (The Small Thing cried, of course, but the Small Thing is two.) I am not good with children, so the lack of crying on my part is cause for celebration.

MY CREDIT IS FIXED AND I HAVE AN APARTMENT.
