I also thought the middle montage was weird! The whole episode seemed off to me, mainly the middle with all the traveling. My husband commented the traveling scenes were like a bad 90s historical movie and all I could think was Robin Hood Prince of Thieves which is just plain awful to revisit.

There are making of's after the episodes???? I've been watching on DVR and did not know!

Dougal: beard 1, game 0

More time passed, at least 3 or 4 days via a voiceover in last episode where Jenny and Claire sit on the porch waiting for the men to come home. STILL.

Now, my experience is only on the first book, I have not read the subsequent series, so good to know the books eventually do address this. My mom lent the first book noting it as a historical time travel book, but it is not actually about time travel. The time travel is a device to get the authors "wanting to be

The montages felt odd to me since Outlander does not typically use them. this almost felt like a filler episode in the middle because of that, even though it was clearly pertinent to the plot. Just … strange.

For a second I was thinking Murtagh might know her secret!

The deep cut reference is used mostly with music; an obscure track deep in a music catalog. So yes, that's a reference that goes back some and is likely not something the average Outlander fan knows!

The Scottish highlanders are the First People.

That is a deep cut, Cindy.
:)

I also miss Dougal.

Jamie still comes off as near-damn-perfect, so I also appreciate any added layers to his character.

I'm dying to see if Claire will punch a wolf.

I personally like The Flash better than Arrow, but I also prefer underdog heroes to filthy rich billionaires who look like romance cover models. Yup, I like the skinny nerdy guys over beefcakes. I also like the supporting cast better on Flash.

My mom will be all over that LIttle House stuff ;) What I'd like to see is PBS replay the 1980s Anne of Green Gables miniseries.

THIS! I'm glad to see cable and even the CW at times doing shorter seasons. Less filler eps.

I love the two usernames here. Perfect for the comments.

My husband and I should by all accounts love Dr. Who. We've tried numerous times and just … no. I get so bored I can barely finish an episode in a sitting. I like David Tennant though.

The hubz and I saw Expendables 2 in the theater. We hadn't seen a movie in the theater in months and really wanted to go, and this is what we decided. That knowledge: it's going to suck and I'm paying for it with my time and money anyway … I want to know what that is and create it in a lab and use it for world

I spent like 8 years of my life arguing with those people on message board forums. I'm burnt out, kids!
