Prime time TV in the UK has like, cursing and butts. PG-13 was no big deal. I didn’t care about cursing or violence when watching a TV show with my parents, but anytime there was sex stuff I felt uncomfortable watching it with my mom, because I pretty much could hear her clench. My mom’s idea of the sex talk was like,

I never asked my doctor outright, but I once had a discussion with her about possibly switch from pills to an IUD so it wouldn’t be so awkward when I visit my ultra conservative parents. This lead to a discussion on birth control and abortion where she flat out said “it’s not about health and it’s all about

Here’s the shorts without sweatpants.

No, it still happens, it just happened A LOT more when I was a teen. Lol

And then they didn’t die like a couple of pussies, they came back to the busted down mansion and she rubbed her kid in his face all hair-tossing her self-induced sadness around. So beautiful. Did I mention I am currently watching this movie? The drawings are too beautiful for me to describe in my drunken state. I hate

When her and Ewan McGregor meet at the snooty place with her new lover? Who is all “do you charge by the inch or by the hour?” OH HALL NO! Gah. And Robert DeNiro? How is this movie not everyone’s favorite movie of all time? ETA I know it was Ethan hawk but fuck that dude

It is truly the greatest film. I got so much bone watching that film.

He was a beautiful baby angel.

Paul Rudd is a vampire and I have aged in much the same way as Leo has. We have much more in common.

So that makes an even 20yrs of me wondering why people got hotted up over a wee loaf of whitebread when John Leguizamo looked like THAT and Harold Perrineau looked like THAT. Oh Tybalt! Oh Mercutio! Oh mercy!

Too old for this one.

Just for funsies, compare Paul Rudd in that movie/Paul Rudd now vs. Leo in that movie/Leo now

While I admit Claire did bring something unique to her version, Olivia was my Juliet in school...

I felt like the only teenager in the world who completely hated Romeo & Juliet the play. Could not stand it, and still can’t, even though I was down with all other Shakespeare. But this movie version spoke to my SOUL. I’m pretty sure it’s just because it was colorful and had a good soundtrack, but I still don’t even

So much greatness!

Also the choir version of “When Doves Cry” one of my all time favorites

Sounds like the time I went to Sling Blade and laughed at an expression from my native Arkansas that no one in the Boston audience would understand. I felt in-the-know with Billy Bob.

TWENTY YEARS? Good god, I keep thinking the 90s were ten years ago.

Harold Perrineau’s Queen Mab speech is the reason to watch that movie. Holy shit.

Wait, this movie is what was making teens horny back in 1996??? No wonder I had such rotten luck back then! I was seeing Jingle All The Way with my dates.
