That flatbread looks delicious. I’ve been meaning to try making pita but I’ve kind of burned out on quarantine baking.

Tom and Tommy are so adorable. All the kitties are adorable.

Good luck! I’ve been a homeowner for 8 years now and it can be tough. It seems like things always break at the worst possible moment. It’s definitely worth it though. There is just something about knowing it’s yours that really eases any frustration.

I do not have that pillow. I do have a chevron rug though. It’s “slate” and I think they called the other color “natural” or something like that. It’s like rope colored. I also need to get rid of it because it wrinkles like crazy and is driving me up a wall.

I agree. The reduction of crowds has made the experience a little bit better. The main issue for me is that I hate going to a grocery store alone and that’s kind of been a requirement of the lockdown so it made it harder to actually go. Once in the store I was okay.

That sounds very frustrating and scary.

I know. It’s very strange out there. I hate grocery stores in normal times so this has really been my idea of hell.

After months of staying indoors, standing six feet apart at grocery stores, and wearing masks everywhere, life amidst a plague is what feels normal now.

I will do some looking and see if I can find something.

That looks SO GOOD. Strawberry pie isn’t something you see a lot. At least where I live.

You need a huge pot. I think it’s probably great to contain them so they don’t take over a whole garden but not great for a small garden.

I was guessing that was it. Very jealous.  Every so often I start googling ways for me to container grow raspberries but it just never seems reasonable with the space I have.

That cake looks yummy. What is an alarming amount of raspberries and how does one acquire that many?

Yes. There’s nothing like the smell of baking bread.

I don’t know why I never considered getting cookbooks from my library. That’s something to look into. I don’t really cook from cookbooks all that often. I usually either do stuff I know how to do or use my laptop. I’d probably be more likely to use a cookbook if it was an e-book.

Same. All I wanted was fruit. TJs has the best fruit around here.

The smell from the blooms on a lemon tree is amazing. They smell lemon-y but flower-y at the same time and it fills the whole floor. The only really hard thing about them is getting them enough light. They need a lot.

I love Priya’s videos. I got sucked into the BA videos over quarantine and I’ve been slowly going through them. So many of them have cookbooks and I’m trying to stop myself from buying them all.

Thanks! I used the BA’s Best English Muffin recipe from Bon Appetit. The youtube video from their test kitchen was really helpful in checking consistency because it’s a very wet dough. Fair warning, there will be cornmeal every where. I’m still finding it.

Thanks for the info! I’ll definitely look into it.
