I love Station Eleven but I’m struggling to see it as a series.

I think it was the Michael Bay one that really cracked me up:)

I think sometimes you just have to a acknowledge that a mystery is far, far more enticing than the explanation. I don’t think this one really needs an explanation and being able to say “It’s God’s plan” gives them the ultimate (if annoying) get out clause.

I’ve been enjoying Years and Years, not least because RTD seems to have resisted some of the more OTT tendencies he had in DW. Well, I say enjoying but the first episode in particular seemed to mesh uncomfortably close with reality that it was not exactly as ‘escapist’ as I’d like. In particular, slipping some

RIP.  He was just ultra-cool.

To my mind that whole sequence was the best bit of the whole mini-series. Also I disagree that Good Omens retains the best bits of the book because it missed my absolute favourite bit; The 4 OTHER bikers of the apocalypse and their hilarious bickering about what to call themselves including Ansafones, Really Cool

Well that looks delightful but I’m not going to see it if it’s exclusively on Apple TV+

You’re talking about a film where Nero (the really unconvincing Romulan who introduces himself by going “Hi, I’m Nero!”) drops Spock on some random planet so he can somehow witness Vulcan getting destroyed. Vulcan which is apparently about 20 minutes away from Sol.

Whaaat? I know I may be the victim of i09 ordering it’s comments weirdly but I’ve not seen anyone saying any such thing. The only comments I’ve read about it so far are those saying it feels artificial (which it does) and complaining about i09's inflammatory and click-baity way of describing it...oh and about a

I’m pretty sure JJ ABrams just does not understand how far away things are in space or he just says “who cares?”.

I know I didn’t think of Chappie because I didn’t feel a strong and immediate urge to punch something.

I spent absolutely ages trying to find the i09 article that previewed the The Endless because I couldn’t remember what the bloody hell it was called and I really wanted to watch it!

The Sphinx is alive and well and living in Bruce Campbell:)

I adopt the approach that if it didn’t happen or get explained on screen then it’s hearsay and rumour. Feige came up with that idiot comment “No, it’s ALL LIFE” after Infinity War to the bemusment of everyone and, lo and behold, Endgame doesn’t turn out to be quite that daft as there’s no suggestion that half of all

Yes please! I would laugh so hard:) :)

I don’t think the problem was with how effective the Dragon was this week but how utterly ineffective and vulnerable they have been in certain previous episodes.

I’m pretty sure Arya’s whole thing this episode was to really hammer home that she is done with the revenge and killing. I hope they don’t bugger THAT up.

I’m with you on everything but BSG.

See, I felt that after the Night King episode and thought last weeks episode was utter nonsense but...well, I still thought this weeks episode was utter nonsense but I really enjoyed it. It was FUN nonsense. Dany was basically me when I’m playing a game and think “Oh bollocks to it, I could do it the sensible way but

While I agree with what you are saying about no-one sitting on the iron throne I also think you are rather naively suggesting everything will be fine if 'common people' arose and took over themselves when the result would probably be just a different flavour of tyranny and injustice. You can't lay all the ills of the
