Yeah...that's right in the intro to the first game.

Yeah, I'd like to have this confirmed.

I'm glad to hear someone else say that. People seem to inevitably declare war on you in Civ V and it's really irritating if you don't tend to play it militarily. Obviously you have to be able to defend yourself but in previous games civilizations seemed to react to how you were playing and you could keep them friendly

I loved the bit about him assigning back stories to the Nazi soldiers.

It would be cool if they could do that to hair! The last character I made had long hair and every time she looks down at something like an enchantment table it stuck out like a board! True, I don't think she's ever washed it and it probably IS covered in blood...

She could make me change my opinion on ANYTHING!

No, but if they ever got in the same room together it would form a cynical grumpiness critical mass and we'd all cease to exist.

Do a quick Youtube search for Charlie Brooker's Gamewipe; It was pretty entertaining:)

I'm inclined to agree and I suppose it does a good job of showing what total idiots a lot of gamers are. Rather surprised at Mr Brooker for saying that, though.

Ha, "You Sony fan boys"

I really like Charlie Brooker but I find it hilarious that people are effectively saying "OMG! Charlie Brooker said PS4 is shit and won't ever amount to anything!!!"

I absolutely agree with what you are saying but having realistic looking and acting characters can certainly help with the sense of immersion. That aside, I think one thing that actually does kill the idea that an NPC is an independent entity is extremely repetitive dialogue and inability to negotiate obstacles. Yes,

I used to have my PC attached to an old HDTV that wouldn't go above 720p (don't ask). Dirt 3 was the first thing I played on a big 1080p TV and I was absolutely amazed at how good it looked on the top settings.

I love the transitions between the games.

lol, the first that jumped into my mind was " Baby, please! I am not from Havana!"

I'm not even sure what people mean when they say 'generic fantasy' any more (Oblivion is because it has forests and castles but Morrowind isn't because it has mushrooms?) but this looks like it's supposed to be some sort of traditional norse epic.

That sounds very much like my experience as well, though I think the first JRPG I played was either Sword of Vermillion or Phantasy Star III.

Excellent. Opinion confused with fact again.

Ah, go and paint your bedroom black! :)

Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out:)
