Dog Soldiers is one of the most fun times I've had in a movie theater (apart from that screening with Alanis).

Whedon was approached.
I love Whedon as much as anyone can, but I still think JJ is a better fit. I'm excited to see what other directors do with the next 500 Star Wars movies, but to kick them off I think they got it right with Abrams.

See also: Lost.

Man….I feel like I might have to see this movie alone, I'm wobbly voiced after each viewing of the trailer.
'Just let it in….'.

The second one is bland, but the first…..what a way to reboot a franchise. Maybe you didn't think so, but I thought that first ST movie was pretty fantastic, both technically flawless and also pretty funny, well cast, acted. I'm pretty sure he was the only choice for the first new SW movie.

He is HILARIOUS in Black Mass. I didn't love the movie, but his scenes were so entertaining. I'd watch an entire movie of that clueless weasel.

that's only 50% bad.

…on that note, there was a script hanging around for years called Gemini (?) which Richard Donner had his hands on, about a clone of a former agent who comes to take him out. It was going to be 'cutting edge' CGI with like a clone of Harrison Ford coming after him, but it never got off the ground.
Now it could just be

Much as I understand the 'why another Die Hard' questions, my concern is;
Why do studios give Len Wiseman work? No good films. Not all of them are awful, but none of them are good. So why? Is it because he's the only person left alive who will work with Willis? He's like a 90s/00s action director who can't achieve

You seem very annoyed by this.
Clearly women are paid less than men in Hollywood, we can't dispute that. She's ruminating on why that might be. You might disagree with her assumptions but she's not wrong.

This finally bucks the trend. The script is superb.

I watched three of the final episodes in a row today and they destroyed me.
Watching the final one tomorrow and I'm dreading it.

the Hap and Leonard books although they are neither cannibal nor western. But they are fackin great.
The Bottoms is also very good.

Saw this last night and it was far better than I expected.
It turns out watching this movie and being afraid of heights isn't half as terrifying as watching one of the characters in the movie who is petrified of heights.

After Ashton Kutcher's version, I'm pretty sure this IS the upgrade.

Tangerine! So fucking good.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch please.

I worked on a script for Stonewall (not this version) many years ago and on reading several books about it, was overjoyed because the storyline is already in place. The sequence of events reads like a screenplay already. It's pretty much good to go.
If there's one historical event which didn't need a fictional (but

'Normal'? Oh no no, Penis Van Lesbian, that is a lovely looking young man. Hubba, and indeed, hubba.

And the end of the movie is everyone realizing it's just total bullshit?
