Oh, Nicholas D’Agosto. So handsome, so incapable of finding an appropriate role.

Massive massive agree. I saw it 3 times in a week.
The last 20 minutes I think is the most fun, audacious and thrilling finale of a film in years. And then day after, whilst putting out the trash, I recalled the final frame and cried on the walk back like some kind of goon.

Trouble Every Day. Blech.

Raw is excellent. But if all the stories about people throwing up or passing out continue, it's going to do more harm than good. It's not that gross, hell it's not even the grossest French movie about a lady cannibal.

When the headline to this article states it 'went terribly wrong'..doesn't that prove that it went terribly right?
I was 9 years old and remember watching this on the BBC, and being shit scared. But it was clear that it was fiction, and even if people were scared out of their mind that was clearly the aim of the

It's not. I saw this a while ago in the 3D HFR and besides being horribly distracting, it includes a lot of Silence of the Lambs face-on shots. And the clarity of the shot means you can basically see up everyone's nose, inside their pores.
Coupled with the use of a fake Destiny's Child, this was one of the least fun

I can't imagine seeing a better film than The Handmaiden this year. It's certainly the best directed film I've seen in years. Tense, funny, erotic, dramatic, deep. Park Chan-wook really directs the shit out of this.

I love this show. Episode 4 is one of the finest episodes of TV this year.
On an unrelated note, Motherland, a new pilot from the BBC, is hugely funny. That pilot probably is the single best TV episode this year.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't crack a smile once. Rogen and Goldberg need to note that a reference is not the same as a joke.

C+? The same grade as Suicide Squad? Girl you crazy.
It's worth a B for Michael Barbieri's performance alone. I saw this about 6 months ago and haven't stopped thinking about it since. A lovely touching film.

I had fun watching this, but Tom Bennett's performance is the best comic performance in years. If this were a just World, and the Oscars fair, I would push him for supporting actor, and expect him to win.

I love Dong. Note; not the first time I've written that.

There are significantly fewer bumholes in The Invitation.
Sadly.

The script for this film is excellent. Like, properly excellent.
And every single discussion about the movie revolves around the looks of either Robbie, Harding or Kerrigan. Massive sigh.

When Taron Egerton was at drama school he was so good that he already had a reputation outside of school by the time he graduated. He may or may not become a fully fledged star, but he's an extremely good and appealing actor.

I don't know what it says about me but i became increasingly aroused the more he danced.

When I was growing up I always used to decry the absence of any attractive (to me) openly gay celebrities.
This changed when I saw Rostam Batmanglij who is the very definition of 'a cutie'.

In which case he's the perfect height for what I have in mind for him.

Hey, what happened today, AV Club? Oh yeah, David Bowie just fucking died. I wonder if we need anything else sad happening?
