i read that pelton’s original prices were low & people didn’t like it b/c they thought that meant the products were cheaply made so they jacked up the prices & actually got more customers.  mind you, this was when they first started.

i live in an area with a wonderful, large library system that has tons of free e-books to borrow & as long as i’m buying $25 worth from amazon, normal free shipping for me is usually 4 days.  prime isn’t worth it for me.

i used to work with an elderly woman in her home & we would watch a lot of tv.  she used her son’s prime but every time i found a movie i thought she might like, you had to pay extra.  fuck that shit - for the price, they should let you watch everything they have.
