I just read it about a month ago, and I have gotten rid of so many things! It’s amazing how easy it is when you hold it in your hand and ask if it sparks joy. For so many things, the answer wasn’t yes. (In fact, I was hanging on to some things for sentimental reasons that sparked GUILT rather than JOY. I felt SO good

This is one difficulty I foresee. My mom and her two sisters have a LOT of antiques, and I am the sole heir to all of that. And they’re gorgeous antiques, but some of them don’t fit my style.

“The Less I Own, the More Time I Spend with What I Like” - I love this! This is my main motivation for the decluttering project I’ve embarked on this summer. Thanks to reading Marie Kondo’s book, I’ve gained the ability to be grateful for the item I’m getting rid of without needing to keep it. It means I keep only

The main reason I switched away from Google Photos to Dropbox is that Dropbox will automatically save the photos to my computer. :)

I've had good luck with Levi's at outlet stores. The last time I shopped at a Levi's outlet, I scored a pair of jeans for $15 that was usually $60. But maybe I was just lucky.

*raises hand* I'm decidedly in the lower class in my state, since I work for a nonprofit. Actually, looking at this list, I'm in the lower class in every state, apparently. But I sleep better at night than I did when I was middle class, because I don't hate my job or my life. :D

I love traveling alone. Then again, I enjoy the feeling of being along in a crowd and watching how other people behave (it's part of being a writer, I think). But I've noticed that I keep much better travel journals when I travel alone. When I travel with other people, it's a different experience—I share my thoughts

One thing’s for sure, your co-worker did something right, or else she wouldn’t have been promoted! So stop questioning why it was her (instead of you) and follow her example.

Haha at one of my previous jobs, I had the OPPOSITE problem. I was the only person in the office with an organized desk, so everyone thought I didn't have enough work to do! I had plenty of work to do—I just couldn't do it if I had a messy desk!

Me too! Why is it so hard to get a good month-at-a-glance view? Or even a week-at-a-glance? That's one thing I really miss about Android. *sigh* Oh well, I guess I'll stick with Week Cal.

And this is the only one I've found that you can put on stinging lips and have them instantly soothed. A dermatologist recommended this to me 10 years ago, and I've been using it ever since. :)

I've had my Fitbit Charge since Christmas, and it actually seems to do a pretty good job of tracking my sleep. I don't know about the times it says I'm restless, but it definitely gets the sleep & awake times right.

Thank you for pointing this out! I'm extremely sensitive to fragrances, and while they don't trigger my migraines (thank God!), many people don't seem to realize how miserable their perfume can make others.

Worked for me this afternoon. :)

Wow. They nailed my characterization. Especially this bit: "Planners also like low-tech tools like label makers, file folders, filing cabinets, drawer organizers, pen holders, and other office organizational supplies. It is fun to turn Planners loose in a Staples or Office Depot store and watch them stock up on all

I need this owl timer. Where do I get this owl timer? :D

Math skills! Last night at Pathfinder I was trying to figure out how much damage I would do with my fighter's swing at the evil outsider, so I had to take my base role of 9 and add 14 from Critical Strike and 12 from Overhand Chop and 9 Holy damage. :)

Hey, that's still a useful tip. Thank you!

I make heavy use of lists on Twitter, and I use TweetDeck on my desktop and TweetBot on my iOS devices. (I miss the TweetDeck app *sigh*). But here's my question: Is there any way to make Twitter or TweetBot load a list as your default feed? I have a "Daily" list that I would love to read as my default feed, but I

Something I've learned from World of Warcraft is to always watch your back, because you never know when some player from the other faction is going to randomly own you from out of nowhere. :-/
