Yeah, I have a serious respect for bears and cougars when I am traveling places where they live, but they also have a fairly predictable behavior pattern, whereas spiders, who the heck knows what they're going to do next?! Jump on my face? Maybe! *shudder*

I can see that formula applying to things like a fear of rejection or stage fright. But my fear of spiders is so knee-jerk that I freeze the minute I see one (or if it's on me I flip out like a ninja and make a total idiot of myself). There's no thinking involved—it's pure, ridiculous instinct. Am I looking at this

As a woman who wears size 8-1/2 or 9 shoes, I only own one pair of skinny jeans that I wear inside boots. Every other pair is always bootcut, because those make my feet look smaller and they're just plain more flattering to me. I would never want to alter my jeans just because fashion changes. I know what looks good

The only time I spend outdoors in the winter is the amount of time it takes to run from my car to whatever warm building I'm going to. I freaking hate winter, and I don't see Vitamin D making up for freezing my toes off. :D

I second this! I use one with a filter on the straw so I don't have to worry about weird-tasting water. A huge bonus for this one, in my opinion, is that you can drink from it without tilting your head all the way back.

Does it go in the dishwasher with the rubber covering and all? I keep eyeing this one when I see it in stores, because I have a strong preference for glass bottles (I wish they still did Coke in returnable glass!) but have never bought one because I wasn't sure if it would be easy to care for.

I loved Swiftkey on my Android phone, but when I loaded it on my iPhone, I found out there were just two theme choices. Then there's the way Swiftkey deletes any time I tag someone on a Facebook post, the fact that training it seems harder on iPhone (maybe that's just perception, but still), and other little things

My mom grew up reusing towels in a family of five. She has refused to reuse any towels except hand towels ever since, so I was twenty-seven before I even knew that there were people out there who reuse their towels. And she's been using the same set of towels for at least ten years and they have no huge signs of wear,

Part of my preference is that I just can't get used to having my word processing documents organized the way Google Docs wants to organize them. I admit, I'm still bitter about them taking over Writely. ;) Seriously, though, for whatever reason, I just can't make Google Docs fit my preferences.

The only time I ever send food back is if my steak or hamburger is undercooked. Thanks to a bad childhood experience, meat with any pink makes me gag. I always go out of my way to be apologetic about having to ask to have it cooked more, and as far as I know, this has always worked out for me. I also tend to tip more

Some tanks actually top out around 55 mph. The triangle requirement would probably vary by model. :)

Breaded tenderloins. The Steer Inn in Indianapolis is famous for tenderloins, and I'm personally a fan of the breaded tenderloins at Creekside Lodge in Crawfordsville.

Nope. I'd go out and get a third job. Or I would sell off some of my assets. But I wouldn't default. The thing is, numbers don't define me. They aren't who I am. I don't default. Period.

As someone who has a LOT of debt (student loans/credit cards), though, I have NEVER defaulted on a loan and WOULD never default, despite occasionally being late with a payment. My FICO score is just under 700, which I know isn't awesome, and it gripes me that someone would think I would default. I would consider it a

I'll never go back to a traditional bank. I opened my first checking account with a credit union at 18. In my mid-twenties I switched to a couple of large banks and then to a smaller regional bank. Around 26 I went back to my credit union and have never looked back. They don't have ridiculous overhead, they aren't

That's very possible. It's just been my only experience with AVG. :/

Same here! Previous place I worked my boss would spend an average of 2 hours a day on personal phone calls, then complain about how busy she was. Within a year of working for her, I had eliminated her backlog of work simply by not making personal phone calls on work time. (Sad/Funny side-note: I ended up efficienting

Ugh. We use AVG at work and it's SO intrusive. It actually hijacked my browser away from my Google search page to its own AVG search. Um, what?

Love Norton. Only time I ever got a virus or malware on my computer was the brief 5-month window I was using a different product. Norton's never let me down.

I used to put off going to bed because I didn't want it to be the next day, and the later I stayed up, the more of today I could still enjoy. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, I suppose, but when you hate your job, it seems to make sense...
