I love all these “champions of the working man” cheering as people lose their jobs....
Um yeah, they were pretty liberal about spending money on exclusive TV rights to events.
SVP is the anti-Berman. ESPN lucked the fuck out the day they hired him. Not saying he was always great - it took him some time to grow into what he is now - but damn if he isn’t the best part of the network for the past several years.
I had my first kid three years ago and cut cable ($100+/month) as a trade off to afford formula ($120+/month) and diapers (kill me now/month). So I’ve missed a lot of the rebranding of SportsCenter the past few years.
He’s right, though. Draymond’s nut shots are all taken from an abiding sense of compassion.
Where exactly would you relegate them to? The USL?
LOL... you see that stuff in every game. European or otherwise. Look, it’s pretty clear MLS is behind the top European leagues, but it’s a genuine league none the less. Soccer is a growing sport here. No need to shit on it just because there are better leagues elsewhere.
What’s amusing is that you are taking a pro-Europe-is-the-bestest stance but ignorantly believe the Spanish League is not good and that there is “one team” in France. Heard of Monaco? It has a team that is still alive in the Champions League. You know the other one, that did not destroy Barcelona this year.
It actually is a soccer league though. If you tune into a game, you will notice that the players are playing soccer. I promise.
The purity of your European soccer preferences impresses me to no end.
Hating on MLS is so tired.
is there true relegation and promotion in the european leagues? I was under the impression that when a lower division club gets promoted, all their players essentially lose their jobs and a ton of better players are suddenly added to the roster. I guess team ownership and the supporters can take pride in looking…
They have 22 of them in Vancouver
The irony of being cut from the Timbers is, well, the deepest.
Do or don’t. Doesn’t affect anyone but you.
I’m a golfer. FINALLY - a ruling that makes our game just a little bit less embarrassing.
Until every shot by every golfer is televised (I don’t even know if this is possible, let alone desirable), they shouldn’t allow any of this shit. It basically penalizes high profile players and/or not so high profile players who are near the top of the leader board.
This is the Left’s problem; they have shame and the guy who posted this felt compelled to apologize. The other side has no such concerns or self reflection.
