It’s actually astonishing how quickly I went from “wow this all happened in 50 seconds?” to “Wow, he made it 50 seconds without doing anything in retaliation?” real damn fast.

Lol at that picture. Like the people in suits and ties are the ones who’d take to the streets in pitchforks.

“And for some reason, it appears blacks believe only blacks can talk about racism”

never gets old

Okay I’ve disagreed with most of what you said, but insinuating that Houston is a “pretty nice” city is just plain wrong. I lived in Houston and Dallas, have traveled the country heavily for work, and live in Denver. Houston is the worst place with over 200k people I’ve ever been.

I live in Denver. This place is half Chicago and midwest ex-pats who are just dying to tell you about the Cubs and Blackhawks and how much better Chicago is than Denver.

This is very spot on. We used to call it the “but not Joe!” rule growing up in Arkansas. Every neighbor I had (agricultural community, 77 people in the town) was pretty openly racist. But if they had a black employee or neighbor (Joe, in this case), you would hear endless nice things about them unprovoked- even if

One of his sons would have to become the greatest player in NBA history for that to happen and they’d have to sell a major company on that happening over a decade from now right now. Also, Jordan wasn’t even the first pick. They would have probably tried that deal with Sam Bowie in this idea, known as the greatest

I went to an SEC school (take a guess). With the SEC Network contract, ESPN took one kid (broadcast journalism major, emphasis on sports) as an intern every summer, brought them to the campus, housed them for six weeks, and didn’t pay them (I mean, it’s ESPN still).

You sound like the type of person to ruin a minor league baseball game for everyone around you.

If a soccer ball is kicked outside of Germany or England, does anyone hear it?

We couldn’t give less of a shit if yet another eurosnob is thumbing a nose at MLS. We’ve been hearing this shit for decades. I’m still having a blast, sorry you can’t appreciate it.

“They just look at it from an out of touch perspective of privilege.”

Yet again, the NCAA gets outmaneuvered by everyone else with skin in the game when it comes to making a judgement call based on the rights of people.

I’m in roughly the same boat. I make under 60K a year, give to charity, and work with several volunteer organizations, mostly focused on children.

When they’re acknowledging it, actively working to fix the problem, and creating a way for others to avoid the ignorance he now realizes he had and offering that solution for free.

This doesn’t deserve snark. Should he have given a shit about people before and such things? Yes.

god bless you for this.

“In football, you can’t negotiate championships.”

Great, we were just thinking of ways to make travel harder on teams. Group Stage games from Mexico City to Toronto? That’ll fly well with FIF-
