I concur. A 10 episode mini-series on Netflix would be better

I read the comic book adaptation, but to anyone who’s read the full novel, do you know why the book got kind of a bad reception when it first came out? I heard online people were hyped for it’s release at the time being a collab between King and Straub but it didn’t get good reviews at first. Based on your reading was

This trailer in all honesty is not very promising. I’m hoping the movie will focus more on Elastigirl having to pave the way for more superheros rather than the father having to stay home with the kids and deal with kid shenanigans. Perhaps they just focused on that in the trailer to get the kids who were born after

This premise is so bad, I have the feeling when the movies comes out it will make people ask “Why did I even like this franchise in the first place”? Or at least why they liked Jurassic World in the first place (And believe me there are quite a few of those people).

The way this post is written it makes sounds like you aren’t particularly interested in the current trilogy. I’m not either, but what with the rise of the “cinematic universe” it seems films are becoming more and more disposable in this model. It’s all about the lead-up to the trailer, than the websites posting

Kind of weird to hear people talking about the 20's in terms of it coming to us so soon instead of being decades in the past.

Would it be unfair to do this to an NBPOC?

Im not exactly excited about this movie but rather for what could come after for Fowler and Miller. There was that article a while back about the possibility of the Goon movie coming back on so I think this project will be a step in that direction.

This is a fascinating video, but also kind of troubling. If the Emoji movie can so easily co-opt the message of these movies to trick people into conformity, the liberal messaging of these movies may be getting too predictable.

Well, in the video they don’t just come up with story concepts, they come with their own ideas of what story a dumb Han Solo movie would follow from the story structure down to very specific details. What with this news and the news about Darth Vader being in the film it’s really starting to look like this movie is

I think you should watch this, but you may get offended...

I don’t want to be that guy, but will 80's nostalgia ever die down just a little? Even for like a few years before it becomes vintage cool? The 80's are nearly 40 years old, and looking back on some 80's media in the late 2010's it just keeps looking older and more distant. I imagine the 2020's is when 90's nostalgia

Id perfer the rights go to boom studios or oni press. They also do some really great liscensed comics like invader zim and power rangers. I hear boom studios is getting rugrats next.

This may be a more of a medium then a genre, but there are certain types of stories in comics that I love, particularly in creator-owned comics. Of course not all comics i like this, but comics like Umbrella Academy, East of West, Black Cloud, and others like it is that they are able to make the absurd and cartoony be

I honestly would not put above Disney to remake the direct-to-video movies as live action sequels at this point. Sure they were mostly terrible, but alot of kids had them and there still might be some NOSTALGIA left.

Marvel isn’t infallible though, Iron Fist proved that.

How much would you say Jessica Jones kind of covered that angle?

People have said that the fact that doctor strange was a magic iron man was kind of a negative for the movie (or at least that its the same arc). I don’t think it would be wise to repeat it a third time, (at least in the context of the MCU).

I think they went low-risk when they made Edgar Wright leave.

This is not the one closest to release.
