I guess my point is that the subtle lead in to Streets Have No Name was a pretty cool breaking of the cliché.

How many films have two sequels that virtually match the quality of first. Amazeballs.

Lesser? Bugsy Malone. Midnight Express. Fame. First three films directed?

Canadian here. Bugsy Malone was one of the quintessential films of my childhood. As a Disney fan, I had to be dragged kicking and screaming to see it. I then saw it 5-6 times in the theatre. Right up there with Star Wars for me. 

The having to walk through cosmetics gauntlet 8n department stores is the absolute worst! I always feel nauseous by the time I make it into the rest of the store.

Incidentally, the Hudson’s Bay Company is 450 years old (it was started as a trading post, serving the beaver pelt trade in the pre-Canada north). It will be interesting to see whether it manages to survive.

James Corden? At least DeGeneres has some comedic chops that brought her to where she is (i.e. narcissistic tyrant). I’m not sure that Corden can fill that void. Best to put the show out of its misery.
