Completely agree.  Plates aren’t the problem. Cameras are. And not even all of them.  Most speed and traffic light cameras are already adjusted for this.

Or have all license plates on a digital screen. If you fail to pay the yearly renewal fee, your plate will not light up. Especially if your car is stolen, the plates send GPS coordinates to your local gestapo.
