It's worth mentioning that the "Derpy" fandom love the character dearly, not ironically or in a mean way. I'm not condoning the usage at all, just a thing I've observed from having a couple of friends in the fandom.

That sounds a lot like me, except I have some undiagnosed gastro thing (that I'm hoping to get diagnosed soon, thanks ACA!). The appetite assistance in particular is amazing. I've lost 35 pounds in the last year just to being sick and not eating, and if I hadn't had weed I would have lost a LOT more.
If you don't mind rain, then the rain here REALLY won't bother you. People here don't know what a real downpour even is. *chants* One of us, one of us, one of us...
Psssst, Seattle has nature and elevation too! Snow-capped mountains on all four compass points on the horizon, too! And some of them are volcanoes, which (if you're like me) makes it even cooler! Also, exclamation points!
Nope. Check prices on Leafly.com to get an idea of what you can get in a West Coast dispensary. And dispensary top-shelf stuff is solid.
We live in Not-The-South. Prices on the West Coast, in particular, are waaaay lower than what you're used to. I've bought on both coasts.
This this this this this. A lot of it is about the experience of buying. I know a guy, but I'd much rather walk into a store, browse the shelves, and bring my purchases to the register. So would most people out there, I'd wager. And I want retail to succeed because I very much want legality to hit a national level.
Sounds very similar to Seattle. Very different from southern Virginia, where I grew up. Look up Gwynn's Island sometime...
I only have one, but it is a STORY, let me tell you.
The Romani people are some of the most widely and brutally persecuted people in Europe. Start there, if you want to learn more about the topic.
Marlene-Dietrich-in-my-icon approves!
The difference being that bigots aren't a persecuted group of people. LGBT individuals face higher murder, suicide, rape, and abuse rates. "Tolerance" for us means people aren't killing us for being as we are born to be. So yeah, cry me a fucking river.
That single episode of Lost gives me pause whenever I think about rewatching. And from the same episode, my submission:
My main response to "Why should we even care if she's gay" is that it would be truly, truly wonderful if it didn't matter... but it does. To other gay people (especially children), it helps tremendously to see representation in media and to know that we are not alone. But I think it helps even more to combat prejudice…
My doggie was in the hospital for all of four days, and I visited him every single day and couldn't stand how quiet the apartment was when at home. A year would break my heart. :(
Man, this has really been a weird winter for us.
My dog is diabetic, and I find just that overwhelming. :( He went into ketoacidosis just in time for Christmas (his blood sugar was over 600! spiked by a UTI), but luckily we got him into the vet fast enough that a very expensive long hospital stay saved him. Sort of going out of my mind stressing over it, actually. I…
Yeah, like... the point at which I dread answering my phone is the point at which I stop answering the phone.
I visited Ireland about eight or nine years ago, and it just blew me away with all the green beauty. Patently impossible to take a bad picture there. A few funny things that happened:
Holy shit. I was also wondering, and went Googling, and:
