I honestly think that the failure of everyone to protect is worse. I was progressing well dealing with memories of abuse but completely lost it when I realized no one in my family believed me/cared. 

Honestly I think society would be much healthier and stronger if we did that. We have a tendency of over exaggerating the impact on men whose crimes are exposed, while at the same understating the impact on their victims for allowing the abuse to go unchecked.

What really broke my heart was how his actions were consistently short of prosecutable, and he apparently knew what he could get away with under the law. According to the accounts I’ve read, it appeared that some of those trying to help were frustrated they couldn’t do so in a manner that would result in proper…

Let me guess, throughout the years he’s had females vouch that he’s been “nothing but respectful” to them, and therefore can’t have acted inappropriately (by that I mean immoral and evil) towards his daughter/any other female.

Just think, now he’s thinking of those elderly parents and wife, and son. None of these subjects were thinking of the child that is now an adult survivor of sexual abuse perpetrated by this coward, and by those listed by an act of omission.

Everyone failed this girl because he was an “important person,” fuck all of them. I hope she is on the path to recovery and far away from every single person that contributed to this.

Love to see these fuckers outed. If every man’s dirty secret was exposed, society as we know it would implode. We have a way of life built on the tacit agreement that we protect male sexual predators.

Right now I can’t help but think that the large majority of politicians accused of various sexual misconduct seem to be Republicans. I don’t doubt that my bias is skewing my viewpoint to some degree, but that’s sure as hell how it looks to me these days.

And are we missing that Jim Knoblach is shutting down his re-election campaign cuz he was diddling his daughter for the last decade or so?
