I don’t think there’s enough data to make meaningful conclusions about the reliability of either model. It’s Ford’s first hybrid tiny truck and Hyundai’s first truck ever.

Banana Slugs should be standard on the Santa Cruz.
$53,823? This must be the plug-in hybrid version that can average at least 40 MPG while towing and has a passthrough rear bulkhead.
The pilot ended up flying for TBS after the Leno lead-in caused too much turbulence.
Since you were given the top trim at $40k, how does it compare to a TRD Off-Road Tacoma? The little voice in my head has been screaming “just get the damn Taco” once I learned the MPG and pricing for the Santa Cruz.
This is one Hilux away from a drone strike.
Three billion fish lives ended on August 29, 1997. The survivors of the saline fire called the war Judgment Day. They lived only to face a new nightmare, a war against the motorcycles.

I imagine that’s what’s going to happen with the electric motor David’s planning on putting in this thing.
This is what happens when you mistake the art on the side of the truck for operating instructions.
$1500?!?!
It’s Florida. Getting crushed by a plane is the least of their problems.
I had to replace the original battery pack in my Prius last year. It was 17 years old at the time with nearly 200k miles driven.
Bingo. The small bed is perfect for hauling dive gear while keeping the cabin tidy. You could probably even use the under bed storage as a rinse tub. (Assuming they were smart enough to direct the drain away from anything that could corrode.)
