Same here. I just use Aveeno all over, but my coworker has been going on about her facial routine that includes: double-cleansing(?), serums, oils, eye cream, retinol, etc. And a little of it is sinking in. If I had the money, I’d go for some anti-aging stuff. I’m getting eye wrinkles at 27.

I actually lost weight during my freshman year. It probably had something to do with the cafeteria being a 20 minute walk back and forth from the dorms. And being lazy in the morning, and grabbing what was available (usually a piece of fruit).

Not gonna lie, I used to think tiramisu was a Japanese dish. It doesn’t sound remotely Italian to me at all!

I loved those as a kid! That series was what really sparked my love of all things historical fiction.

Similarly, you can also keep your necklaces untangled by looping them through straws!

This is a bit like Tours By Locals (link below). I like the idea of these, but they’re way too expensive IMO.

Master a regular braid first, then try adding even pieces of hair in bigger chunks (done faster = less sore arms). Failing that, can you practice on someone else?

I’ve definitely done the buy underwear thing. The nice part about it is, lots and lots of clean underwear until the next laundry cycle. :D

Used to be on it, I find the longer I’m on it the more depressed I get. After a while, you start to see the same people on your feed (probably same on their end, given the taper in messages I get the longer I’m active).

I just finished a Ladies Learning Code workshop, and it’s spurred a massive LinkedIn profile update and just lit a fire under my butt for all things skill improvement in general!

I prefer ebooks on the go (train commute, planes) since they’re often lighter, thinner and I find them just plain easier to hold when I’m holding a million other things on my arms.

NGL, this sounds like something that would happen to me in an exercise class.

Depends on if the person is stationary or not. If we’re both walking, I do a little wave. If the person is standing or sitting and we happen to lock eyes, I’ll nod. In both cases though, I’m walking really fast. To avoid conversation.
