This is a VERY small town, Ken Jennings, and we will all remember this”

How did I end up back on the Aldean article?

Word to your mother(‘s Threads profile)

Sure, because you could never communicate via the internet before Twitter.

A Royale Clusterfuck

What I see is a goddamn superhero

Facebook isn’t Meta. Meta is like Alphabet, which is the corporation that owns the company that is Google. Facebook still exists.

This is all very silly, but (only) slightly less dumb than you were saying.

I absolutely loved watching Ms Marvel (bar the crappy villains); Iman Vellani is such a pleasure to watch. Looking forward to watching 2 hours of these great superheroes working together.

The bag at least makes some sense to me. Presumably they know his powers include Extremis regeneration, and it seems reasonable to me that suffocation would bypass that. So would a head shot, but it might seem risky to try for that until he’s incapacitated. They might have been trying to capture him and not kill too.

I don’t think it’s a show-turning revelation, but it is fair to point out that it’s maybe the first instance of Fury visibly tapping resources outside of his immediate circle of friends in this story, contrary to everybody believing he’s utterly washed. But I have to be honest, this response is disappointing; this

I think that’s it. They have a basic premise which they modify depending on how things go. Like, they probably didn’t plan on having a Loki series (or most of the other series) since they didn’t have a streaming service when he first appeared, but everybody loved Hiddleston in the role and they decided they wanted

Yes, it’s true, not one single person knew that Jeff Goldblum, Steve Martin, Zooey Deschanel, and Scarlett Johansson, in particular, have music careers. I am especially shocked that Steve Martin, who has won multiple Grammys for his music, is a musician.

I’m not sure which is a more obvious sign that this was bullshit. The fact that it was first reported by The Sun or that it involves Cameron doing anything with a streaming service.

Yeah, it’s weird how it seems a fair amount of people are trying to paint him badly in this situation. I’ve seen people accusing him of “inserting himself into the conversation” and denying his expertise. Now they’re trying to make him into a ghoul capitalizing on a tragedy. I’m no particular fan of Cameron’s

And they’ll cancel it after the third?

Now playing

I would think it’s offensive to him - minus your air quotes - because Cameron was good friends with “P.H.”, Paul-Henry Nargeolet, who he’d worked with for 25 years before he died in the implosion. He talked a little bit about that friendship when he did his initial interview.

Jet Lag is one of the best things to come out of any entertainment ecosystem, full stop, and I’m happy for any coverage it might get, but....

He has more restraint in emotional situations. It’s called Cruise Control.

Unless your name is Shelly Miscavige.
