Shota I recognize from the first Iron Chef Gauntlet (the one Stephanie Izard won) and he held his own against more experienced chefs. I expect that he’ll be a tough out on this season, unless he gets a bad draw in Restaurant Wars.

I have to say, I am weirdly impressed with the tray that the new Chipotle quesadilla comes in. This seems like a small detail, but having the toppings served in those separate compartments means a few things: There’s no small additional plastic tubs to throw away, and because of how things are partitioned, the heat…

So I guess you're saying that you were not impressed with his performance...
