This really was a great season, it’s up there with the first All Star season, even though Mike I. isn’t really my cup of tea.

I really thought Le Ann was going to hobble Melissa; they certainly played that up on the previews. Glad she just tuned her out and did her own thing. Based on menu alone, she clearly had it in the bag from the getgo. As Padma observed, she was the only one who was making something new and original each course.

This was too hot, never too cold. I’m just gonna walk away and say goodbye now. 

Aside: I actually went to school with Anne Murray’s kids for a couple of years (I was a few grades ahead). Never got to meet Anne but the kids were pretty level-headed. You’d never know that their mom was world famous talking to them.

It’s not so much the charges to the end user that I was griping about. It’s the fact that they generally take a sizeable cut from the restaurants.
