‘Don’t touch me or I’ll kill you’.”

Totally the parents are allowing co-dependent behavior on both sides.

To the post-grad living at home: Maybe I misunderstood, but it seems like your parents are playing you and Morgan off each other (you reading texts on Mom’s phone - I assume with her permission?). Or, at the least, your parents should be firmly and resolutely stopping your sister from hurling about all of these false

Reminded me of when I originally came to Jezebel, and I felt myself being opened to a dialogue and insight that was untapped. I’m cautiously optimistic that it’s a return to form.

I wouldn’t go that far. I mean if you want to get into the sex trade that’s cool. More power to you.

This is a real thing that happens, and it’s compketely fucked. But Matt Lauer was paid a lot because he was a tent pole in NBC News’ brand. Why viewers were so loyal to him, I’ll never know. But comparing two women who haven’t been huge names at NBC for decades with a man who basically *was* NBC for decades isn’t

Classic television.

I bailed on this show about halfway through. I’m sure it’s great but my tolerance for watching people make shitty decisions is extremely low.

Here is a link to a segment of the special where he talks about it:

I think that Chappelle’s main point with CK’s punishment being disproportionate was based around his comparison to South Africa.

Thats the point of “reality” TV though, to be as messy as possible. If she had any sort of message or constructive reason for being on TV then she wouldnt be on TV in the first place, this minstrelry has got to stop.

I said this the other week over at GT and got a buncha boots up my ass for “dragging the democratic party down” because you just can’t say you wish we had a third party at a time like this without being a traitor to liberals/progressives.

Once again, Michael hits the bulls-eye. Just a couple of minor notes:

Fuck this. Black men exclude black women with shocking regularity in activism, centering their own needs exclusively in the political discourse. When the spotlight gets put on black women for 1 nanosecond, we suddenly get talk about ‘divisiveness’ and “what about the meeennzzzz” complaints.

Co-signing. I am thisclose to abandoning the Democratic Party and register as an Independent.

You’re 100% correct. Fuck the Democrats and especially fuck all of the “allies” who won’t do anything to upset the White, male supremacist power structure but will continue to stand in the street with their dumb ass pink hats and talk about “revolution”.

Amen to that. I’ve worked at the state level for the democratic party and beleive it the state democractic parties are in SHAMBLES. They very rarely, allow black folks to make decisions. They adore our activism but they don’t want to help within our communities. In other words, they mainly just want to use our bodies,

I’ve given up on the Democrats. Black women keep giving our all only for us to get nothing in return. Even Doug Jones who owes his win to Black people is saying he will vote Republican and centering White folks. The Republicans really never pretend to care about us. The Democrats pander and tout diversity but at the

I definitely agree with this, a lot will have to come from within. Raising confident black daughters, and raising sons to appreciate their own AND their sisters’ blackness.

In 2018, we demand more. Some black women want a seat at the table, while others want to smash the table and rebuild something that centers the needs of black women, black families, and black communities.
