I tend to think the show is pretty much all of them leaning in really hard to their roles. I don’t know that you could say the show has a consistent theme, but one of the most often reoccuring ones is satirizing the most common variants of toxic masculinity.

I still watch it, but in an age of everyone wanting to binge watch shows, it’s not one I recommend watching more than an episode or two a sitting, because their manic narcissism gets to be a bit much.
