In order to have a copyright and a trademark you MUST go after all things that infringe on said intellectual property, failure to do so risks you losing your copyright. Nintendo is just doing what Nintendo has to do. They capitalize on IP, not on hardware sales.

TIE Pilot, on the other hand, is a role reserved for those who have angered Vader the most.

Not really.

I’m picturing a terrified Imperial enlisted man trailing after Vader with a can of compressed air and a Tin Man style oil can whenever there’s reason to go to a desert planet.

I want Lando to show up and smooth-talk Kylo Ren back to the light side. Charming bastard could probably do it, too.

I don’t ask for much. Just that Darth Vader’s long-standing nemesis, Jedi Master Pile Of Sand, return in Episode VIII.

I mean, Han’s not around, so someone’s gotta take care of the Falcon, right?

“More Rumors About Another Iconic Character Returning in Star Wars: Episode VIII”

I appreciate the use of puppetry over CG in most cases, but the last Yoda puppet they built was awful, and the CG Yoda was pretty good. Especially if he’s a bit hazy as a Force-Ghost it feels like a pointless exercise to build the puppet again.

I will say that Kylo was wounded and not in the right state of mind to fight Rey. His lightsaber was also weaker than hers (shown multiple times that it couldn’t cut through things like a normal saber) and he was overcome with emotion much like Anakin in Ep 3 when Anakin lost to Obi Wan (an outcome that wouldn’t have

Has anyone made Force Ghost Coast to Coast yet?

I’m still in favor of Han showing up as a force ghost.

I really hope not. One OT death per new movie will either be depressing as hell or devolve into a “you killed Kenny” farce.

I am of the belief that the world isn’t getting dumber, dumb people just have more access to tools giving them the ability to broadcast themselves to a much wider audience.

But is there evidence the world is actually getting dumber? People say that shit all the time, but I’m pretty certain there were a lot more dumb shits in the 1800's and 1st half of the 1900's at least.

Uh, because they can? They have a sci-fi game with no name, and they have a sci-fi IP with no game. It makes absolute sense to put two and two together.

Seriously, all the complaints about it pretty much amount to “I’m salty about this vanilla ice cream because I wanted chocolate ice cream. Metroid should be chocolate!

Having played it, it doesn’t feel like the Metroid name was just slapped on it. It actually feels like a cool side adventure in a bigger universe and makes me wish we had more of these, just as I’d like there to be more main Metroid games, too. They do a good job not just of using Samus as a supporting character but

The Noctis figure alone is $120 for the regular version.

Your argument makes no sense. For starters, a game being great is not an indication that DLC will be worth it, therefore pre-ordering one and not the other are not mutually exclusive. Second, I pre-ordered the game out of pure emotional attachment. There was no logical “I know this game will be great” it is more “I

As a purchaser of the ultimate edition...and re-looking at what is included in it...I am fine with this (and now I can make my own decision about whether the DLC will be worth or it not.)
