I’m not a troll. You are just wrong. No where in the books or movie does it in anyway indicate Rey is a slave. You manufacturing facts to support what is simply an idea on your own part does not count no matter how much you want it too.

If it makes you happy, I can reply one more time. She was not a slave. Thanks for finally agreeing in your last reply. See? I’m not that stubborn.
As you keep proving yourself, but are unwilling to concede. She was not a slave. It is just simply not true.
Your ability in a lot of things might not be as well honed as you believe they are (As well as that of your relations).
Yeah, while in part The Last Starfighter used CGI to standout from other movies at the time— “Look at us! We’re revolutionary!”— the fact remains, all the CGI is in service of the story, to the point that you don’t care that it’s not at all real, you’re still swept up in the adventure.
The bandwagon is about to depart, you better hurry up or you’ll miss it!
No matter how dated the CGI, the Gunstar still looks fucking kickass.
I could live with a Remastered Edition, like what they did with Star Trek TOS. That was pretty much perfect, imo.
...and Death Plasm is an improvement? :p
The Last Starfighter has my favorite character ever in it. Flippy Monocule Guy.
Rey wasn’t a slave, she was a scavenger. Rey and Finn’s escape wasn’t aided by Han and Chewie. They actually captured the Falcon during their escape. Obi-wan was killed in the mid-point of E4. His death was practical and served to establish a villain. Most movies have deaths, it doesn’t make them retreads. An…
Some people who want their phones unlocked do. Everyone else gets their phones with a contract.
How? You could have had a 5-10 minutes of forced exposition to explain all of it sure, but that is really crappy storytelling.
I would imagine the loss of 5 major planets would cause the New Republic to recuperate and fully back the Resistance.
Honestly it is vague, but I really didn’t see it being that muddled. Or important, rather.
it’s pretty clearly telegraphed (well to people who are into this kind of stuff) that the resistance is essentially a PMC (Private Military Contractor) under the direction of Generalismo Leia who didn’t trust the empire remnants as far as an ewok could toss a wookie, and that the Reublic wasn’t officially backing them…
“It is not justified at all, not in Hux’s speech or anywhere else in the film.”
Apparently JJ + crew understand that the vast majority of the film-going public does not care about any of this backstory. We got light sabers, and X-Wings, and some cute droids and we’re good to go!
Can anyone explain to me what happened to those classic T-65s? The T-70’s are swanky but just don’t have the same presence. Maybe they exceeded their airframe hours?
huh? he specifically tells Anakin to wait at the temple.
