The Starks seem to be suffering from being morons this season. Arya, Rickon and Jon. Arya, in particular was depicted as much more cunning and street smart than she was in the last few episodes.

Why didn’t he just grab one (or two) of the hundreds of tower shields being carried by the men surrounding the Stark army?

Wun Wun could have certainly used a tower shield. Battle won, no fatalities for team Stark. (Except Rickon, who, incidentally, would have also benefited greatly from a tower shield.)

I think a lot of the issues with the prequels was that we all knew what was going to happen from the beginning. I think that’s why George kept trying to throw in some “Bet you didn’t see that coming” stuff that just didn’t work. Like Jango Fett being the source Clone troopers and C-3po being a construct of Anakin…

I use my nostalgia glasses. No alcohol needed. It’s one of the best movies ever.

I think they did that just to mimic “The Force Awakens” poster. The Alien woman just happened to have a staff. And since they didn’t have any lightsabers, they just sent the Enterprise flying parallel to the staff.

I think it’s just fine. But it is kind of cool when SHIELD has some reference to the latest movie. The best one was the Winter Soldier story-line. It was an in depth crossover with SHIELD collapsing with the Hydra take-over.
