If it makes you happy, I can reply one more time. She was not a slave. Thanks for finally agreeing in your last reply. See? I’m not that stubborn.

As you keep proving yourself, but are unwilling to concede. She was not a slave. It is just simply not true.

Your ability in a lot of things might not be as well honed as you believe they are (As well as that of your relations).

She could have changed her method of making a living as well. And there is no proof that there were no other scrap dealers other than what is shown. That would be hard to believe on Jakku, where the Rebel and Imperial navies lie in ruin. There were no arms dealers or any other merchants shown in detail either, But

He also crashed that TIE/SF. I’m pretty much sure he’s officially been through more ships than any other Star Wars character...

The bandwagon is about to depart, you better hurry up or you’ll miss it!

Poe apparently has way too many X-wings...

She, however, was not a slave and could have taken her business elsewhere. She was not employed but chose who to sell her scrap to.

Or is it a T-85?

Do you have a bunch of T-65’s for sale or something? :)

The two seater TIE/SF does have a slightly different design to accommodate those systems in a different module. Though I’m sure none of are us expecting any of this to be “real”. You have to look close but the TIE/FO and TIE/SF is different including their panel pylons and main body.

I’m not sure that’s a fair comparison. One is cannon fire coming from the new TIE/FO and TIE/SF which are designed to be X-Wing killers. The other is kinetic damage. T-70’s may survive direct impacts better since they are smaller. It’s not really depicted on screen (yet).

Me too, I actually prefer these “updates” to new craft. I hope the upcoming movies update the Y-wing, A-wing and B-wing as well.

In the movie and in the books, the T-70 seems to be much more agile, heavily armed, and effective. The battle scenes seemed to reinforce this. Which falls in line with it’s cannon description. As someone informed me above, there is also a T-85. According to Wookiepedia, they have the same airframe and design as Poe’s

I agree, Finn is a great character. I love the idea of the movie centering around a stormtrooper too. Maybe the Rey plotline will be as simple as she is Luke’s daughter and the savior of the universe. But it’s way too easy. I think we are all being duped into this line of thinking. Only the sequels will tell, I guess.

Cool, thanks! I’ll read that next. :)

Rey wasn’t a slave, she was a scavenger. Rey and Finn’s escape wasn’t aided by Han and Chewie. They actually captured the Falcon during their escape. Obi-wan was killed in the mid-point of E4. His death was practical and served to establish a villain. Most movies have deaths, it doesn’t make them retreads. An

But, I think this was intentional on the part of the filmmakers. The prequels were criticized for their overt detail in politics. The first Star Wars was very vague in what was going on in the big picture. I really think this was an intentional emulation of that.

Is there a source for this? I’d be interested in reading it. Everything I’ve read including the technical guide says the X-Wings the resistance have are newest and state of the art.

Me too.
