Agreed on all points. Plus, who wouldn’t at least use visible security badges these days?
It’s not up to you to decide what I need. I’ll let you know if I “need” your opinion in the future though.
Wow! I didn’t realize Jason did all those things to get the story! I just figure he read it on, well Reddit...
Assassins Creed taught me this.
We need reporting that’s not just paid advertising. In everything, not just the games industry. I’m actually shocked it still exists. Two thumbs up!
It’s an Apple product. I was expecting them to send the artists to my house on weeknights. :D
But it’s all irrelevant because the rebels already knew the fleet was coming and on the lookout. It was the probe that prepared them. The story was that it (actually) had nothing to do with what the admiral did.
Or could it be that Vader was trying to determine why the Rebels knew they were coming, and came to his own conclusion that the Hyperspace drop is what must have revealed them early?
Why does this remind me of Yoshi’s Island?
Boxboy and Pushmo are great. But not better than the other games you mentioned. And you’re absolutely correct, the A8 is impressive and so is Metal. And they’re both getting better every year. I use a MFi controller and games play great. I’ve gotten used to touch controls too, but I prefer physical.
Agreed, different people are going to prefer different games. I just find it hard to justify the comment that Boxboy or Pushmo was better than Smash Bros (X), Mario Kart 8 or Fire Emblem, as Jason Schreier was implying.
So last year, everyone was saying Square was dead and it was game over. This year they have pretty much totally overtaken E3. With Bethesda a very close second. At least judging by forum responses anyway. Of course none of this stuff will be out for ten years or so... (A joke, I hope.)
Then don’t get an Android.
There is a difference between “best” and “made the most money”.
There are some really horrible people in this world, that needs to be removed from society. And, they are right here in comments section of Jezebel.
And I’ve seen “good” PVP players that couldn’t complete a PVE raid or advanced puzzle if you babysat them all the way through it. It IS a different skill set. A lot of PVP players really can’t grasp anything more complex than “make my auto-aim hit that guy until the game says I got him”!
“And it’d be wonderful to see a developer like Nintendo—whose best titles in recent years have been small, mobile-like games such as BoxBoy and Pushmo...”
What I mean was, at that time the voxels looked better than polygon based terrain. That's why they rendered the game in this way.
Because in 1999, it looked amazing and better than anything else I can think of at that time. The problem was that you either had to run it in a tiny window, or have huge voxels filling the screen. And I had pretty much the fastest PC and components you could buy. (At the time of course.)
