Kotaku has been crushing reviews lately. I tapped out of this series after Far Cry 4, didn’t play Primal or 5, and have no intention of playing this game. And yet I read this entire review. It pulled me in and made me think. I love the way it contextualized the series tropes through the game’s mechanics, story and

This investigation was paid for by the school and the diocese....and they found no wrongdoing on the part of their students. I imagine just the same way the Catholic Church found nary a single orphan was abused by a single priest at their orphanages.

It’s only important if you think investigations require impartiality.

They should have let something like the Southern Poverty Law Center or the ACLU choose an investigator.

For the low low price of several grand, you too can get hard hitting investigative techniques like:

The Catholic Church paid a Catholic investigator to investigate Catholics accused of bad behavior. They said everything was A-OK. Who could imagine such an outcome?!? It’s not like the Catholic church has ever covered up bad behavior by their members before...

Who paid Greater Cincinnati Investigations to do the investigation?  That’s kind of important information.

People will cross the Bay for work, but rarely for anything else. I moved to the East Bay many years ago and you’d have thought I’d moved across the country for how often I can get SF friends to visit me on this side...

Gods, that seems like the truth with us lesbians as well. Everyone is either in a relationship that’s been going strong for decades, or in a large polycule. Which, hey, makes it easy to make lots of new friends! But new dating opportunities, not so much.

Oh, I forgot about the No Car issue! I had a car, so I was ok with driving pretty much anywhere, but at some point I stopped dating people who didn’t have cars because I didn’t want to be onus of travel to be always on me. (This was especially true when I was living in Vallejo and wasn’t near BART).

I’d like to add as an SF gay: all of the above is true for the gays plus adding the fact that everyone is already in an open/poly relationship so like no one is looking for an actual boyfriend.

Can’t be worse than dating in DC. I’d say I’d trade anything to date in CA again rather than DC, but anything would include the career I came to DC for. And at least my career pays me. Relationships...just take.

Adding mods like this really spices up the world. I honestly can’t really play Skyrim anymore without them because it feels like something is missing when I take them out, same for Fallout, and the same for Sims 4. It makes for interesting stories, like sneaking into someones house in Whiterun only to hear them boning

I could’ve sworn at first that this was a Patricia Hernandez article, unearthed from the depths of the site’s archive. Seriously, the resemblance is uncanny.

That feeling when you start out with a sex club and end up with the Oneida Community.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend remains the definitive anti-romcom romcom and always will be.

That extra $215 million doesn’t exist and it never will. The vast majority of people who jump turnstiles or sneak in through emergency exits either won’t or can’t afford to pay either way.

I hate when people are quick to claim sour grapes but this is sour grapes. There’s no way around it.

There are points that could be made about Donald Glover being white people’s black Jesus or how he idolizes non-black women. This guy made absolutely none of them.

Glover’s a house slave who is wrong for not showing up

Sounds like somebody didn’t get the feature he wanted.
