Much love for the S38. I think the 3.8L version in the last E34 M5s is the largest displacement 6-cylinder made by BMW? Also the S38 gave rise to the S14, another legendary BMW engine.

Agreed 100%. I really enjoy the S52 in my car, even though it’s a bit controversial amongst other BMW people. I upgraded the cooling system in mine with an S54 radiator and S54 oil cooler, along with some other neat stuff.
That’s also a great engine with impressive numbers. I hope it gets chosen as well.
BMW’s straight six engines. But the best is surely the S54b32. It was a 3.2 liter straight six that produced 333hp. That’s more than 100 hp/L. Found in the E46 M3, as well as the later year Z3 and Z4 M Roadsters and M Coupes.
I remember reading this article around the time my car had 120,000 or so miles. Once I hit 122,667 I reset the trip counter and stuck a post-it note to the cluster reminding me NOT to touch it again. The payoff was definitely worth the wait. This actually happened a few months ago, but I’m just now remembering the…
I have a friend that used to say “legit-ly.” I had to correct him to say “legitimately” instead because that’s what friends do. We are both grown-ass men in our 30's.
Lewis can possibly win a 6th World Championship this year. Hopefully he will have a change of heart if that happens, and allow the footage (or at least some of it) to be seen.
SoCal (LA) native here. Everything you said is right on the money.
This has been done to an M Coupe! And it did a Rallycross event and won 2nd in its class (rwd)!
I too had The Force Awakens spoiled for me. It was only a few days before the movie premiered and I WAS HYPED. I had managed to stay off social media for weeks and avoided spoilers up until that point. Then I watched a YouTube video where the news anchor did a weather report but she sneakily throws in a bunch of Star…
^^^ THIS!!!!!!!! I’m in the market for a truck and have my sights set on a green 2nd gen Taco, but if the current 3rd gens were available in green I’d be all over it.
I HAVE A QUESTION! Are the asymmetric doors flipped on vehicles sold in RHD countries? That is, are Velosters sold in Japan, HK, Australia, etc. built with the large single door on the right side, and the 2 small doors on the left (opposite of North America cars)?
The McLaren F1 had a BMW V12 in it. True, BMW didn’t build the whole thing, but that counts for something. Especially when it says “BMW M Power” on it.
Good eye. That’s exactly where it is.
A few years ago I had a rental car for about a week while my car was in the shop. I don’t even remember what kind of car I rented, it was so bland and mediocre. It looked like a blue jellybean. Maybe it was Nissan Versa?

Agreed! I didn’t think the F-type could get any better looking, but here we are...
According to the media site (http://media.jaguar.com/news/2017/01/new-jaguar-f-type-debuts-world-first-gopro-technology?q=&start=0&brand=jaguar), the 400 Sport Edition will only be available with an automatic transmission. Major bummer, but I won’t be able to buy one anytime soon either.
