Indeed! Z3 M Roadsters and Z3 M Coupes are essentially E36 Compacts with different sheet metal. Semi-trailing arm rear suspension, single ear diff covers and all!

GTC4 Lusso (the car that replaced the FF)

Just a long-time owner sharing some info :) Let’s not discount the non-Ms entirely though. There was an individual program for non-M Z3s, so there are many out there with crazy interiors too (like the other posts above.

Actually, BMW and Merc both made little roadsters because of the Miata. Not even joking.

Totally! Another +1 for Imola Red & Black (though I am biased as an owner)!

I did't know that a 540i is a knockoff car made in China.

Ugh. I didn't read the title carefully enough. In any case I am still right and you are all still wrong.

911 50th Anniversary Edition (because those seats and dat ass!)

Because >100hp/liter is kind of a big deal.

Here's a variant with the Jalopnik and Blipshift logos reversed:

Explanation: The "Z" designation in BMW Z-series cars (Z3, Z8, etc) stands for "zukunft" which means "future."
