My kids were born after the show ended its run. They adore it. Some stuff dates it but fundamentally it is a show about relationships and seems to work well even today.

The trailer didn’t fill me with any particular desire to watch the movie. Lots of BRAAAAMMMM!!! and screaming. Lot’s of fuzzy darkness...

Assigned seating is great, and seems to be the norm in much of the world outside North America. I remember moving to the US and being astounded that there was no assigned seating in theaters.

“fewer...”

I have an... alternative contestant...

Good points. :)

I’ve had more than a dozen Thinkpads, many from the pre-Lenovo era. Never disappointed...

I’ll be “that guy”.

The Riker Maneuver.

Seconded...

Thx for the tip.

I totally get trying to take care of your stuff. Lots of people just don’t have any respect for other people’s things.

Now playing

The Death of Stalin is utterly brilliant. On a work trip, I went to local multiplex and picked it on a whim. Followed by a couple of hours of laughing so hard I had stomach cramps and almost peed myself.

And by “retirement homes”, you mean underneath malls in Indiana, right?

Get a bag with a good worldwide warranty. For example Rimowa and Samsonite may be more expensive than your average suitcase, but most of their suitcases have 10+ year warranties. I’ve had wheels wear out and handles come off on several heavily used Samsonite suitcases. The company replaced the parts in question

While I see what you mean, as I see it scuff marks even on carry-on luggage should be expected. They get jostled in overhead bins, and rub against other bags. The point of the suitcase is to protect what is inside. Scuff marks mean it is working as intended.

For one, if you’ve found a cheap itinerary combining flights from different airlines and have no intention of changing your plans, then by all means, book the flights!
