You can “sorta” do that.

A soundbar, while a fine device, does not give true surround sound. And unless you have a proper home theater room, even with a good receiver and 5.1 speakers you’ll get all sorts of resonance effects that will detract from the sound experience being as the filmmakers “intended”.

Proper surround sound and ambient light control are at least as important as the screen itself.

I think it was pretty clear alliterator meant “non-consensual” in the sense of “forcing yourself on someone for the purpose of sex”. Cheating on your wife is bad, but IMHO it is not anywhere near as serious as rape or other sexual coercion.
