I think I read somewhere that the writers put this scene in as revenge because Gates McFadden and Marina Sirtis weren't getting along and being argumentative about it. But I might have that backwards.

What is this...?

The Italian pronunciation of Petrocelli would indeed be with a soft c, as in "charge".

I really really tried the Modern interface but after a couple of weeks I gave up. Unless you're only running apps, it becomes painful. Example: Let's copy a file. Either you dump into desktop mode, which is very nice btw, or you try it in an app in Modern and you're back in 1993 running Norton Commander.

Fancy a banger, mate?

Some of the talented pilots handle the challenge surprisingly well, while others decide landing on the nose gear is an acceptable method. Others abandon the landing altogether and go-around to try

Check out those arms. Wow.

+1. Water is enough unless your workout is over an hour or if you're working out in a very hot environment (e.g. Florida) where you sweat a lot. And even in those cases you should not go full Gatorade. 1 part Gatorade in 5 parts water is more than enough. Actually adding a pinch of sea salt and a bit of honey to your

I feel too dumb for KSP all the time. :)

While I must confess to enjoying the insane Asparagus Staging which is currently rewarded, I look forward to an aerodynamic model that bears some semblance to reality. :)

I hear you. Just to be clear, I don't think the designers are incompetent or lazy. They probably just never imagine that fools like me would try to design 31000 ton vehicles with almost 3000 parts. :)

Thank you. Could you please explain this to my wife? ;)

Agreed on the SRBs. I was just fiddling. Adding more liquid rockets in asparagus works way better. However they also more complexity so the games bogs down.

The SRBs aren't firing on landing. I'm trying to build a vehicle that can land on Eve with chutes only, then take off again and make it all the way back to Kerbin. The delta-V required is on the order of 14000 m/s. Then I have to make a booster to shoot the thing from the KSC on Kerbin to aerobraking at Eve. My first

:)

This sort of thing happens to me all the time in Kerbal Space Program. ;)
