I disagree. I've never seen "cockpit crew". "Flight crew" is common. However this does not describe individuals, just like "cabin crew" does not.

Not everywhere. Here in East Asia many airlines still refer to them as stewardesses, a title they wear proudly.

Doesn't have to be an expensive car either. Almost daily I see bang-head-on-desk driver antics and I can't help but wonder why these people don't go out to a parking lot and practice low-speed maneuvers like parking for a few hours.
