Rats is one of my favorites of theirs too. And not just cause I had beautiful, wonderful pet rats over the years.

Hey, I'm a depressed super liberal woman with super-strong bones!! And to think you found her here on the AV Club!!

Babaganoush!

Tell me about it, I'm a dancer in nyc and I took home $100 last night. Blurgh. Now I understand why whenever we get girls from down south, they tell us nyc sucks and we should try the south.

I know what made me think they filmed in NY, the scene at the Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum 2/3 station entrance in "The Wednesday Incident" from season 2 ep 16. That looked like the real station entrance. I remember being surprised, because tv shows almost always screw up the subway stuff unless they actually film

They don't shoot in New York? Genuine question, I have actually thought how they seemed to be in the neighborhood they claim to be - maybe I am confusing establishing shots with the action shots. The maps of the precinct seem to be pretty accurate - last night they even had zip codes. Gina and Amy don't seem to have

From the streets signs, names and subway stations they have used they are in Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Grand Army Plaza area, central Brooklyn. Cars are fairly common in that area.

The precinct in the Bronx near me, has a parking lot with the spots near the entrance assigned (there are little signs, not with names, but with positions). This seems to be fairly standard in the Bronx. I've seen both lots and just street parking in Brooklyn, depends on the neighborhood.

I never quite caught how the Shoulder Nova works. It's magnetic, what does it stick too? I know I am overthinking it, but as someone who reads in bed a lot, this could be important!

I thought this one was pretty funny too. As soon as Terry brought in the ballet teacher I knew what was going to happen, I took ballet from age 5 and my ballet teacher used to put her ashtray on our heads when we were doing plies if our posture was not perfect! And I like how they are handling Jake/Amy, they were

As a stone age person who still uses a wall calendar, I have been disappointed in the fact I no longer get calendars every year for Christmas. Now, I have nowhere to keep my appointments!

It's also very, very, very annoying because it completely neuters a real, demeaning phenomenon that woman have to put up with when dealing with some types of men - men that should be called out on that behavior. As a woman who is handy with construction, motors, etc and is fairly young looking I have had this happen

Ha. I saw both movies! I actually thought the Sideshow Bob segment was pretty funny, laughed out loud. The rest… meh agreed.

Oh god, I read Dreamcatcher. It was the last book in a string of King books I read… didn't want to touch another after that.

I read almost all of his books in the last year and was surprised at how much I enjoyed many of them. But I was underwhelmed with The Shining. I don't know if I had the opposite case, where I saw the movie first, so the book wasn't what I expected or I just liked some of his other books better. Who knows, I loved Duma

This episode really got me good. When I was a little girl, I was so scared in a Haunted House ride, I screamed and screamed until someone came out a side door and took me out of the ride. I really felt for Lisa. Great episode. I have been watching the Simpsons since Tracey Ullmann and never completely gave up on it.

Aw man, that song used to play where I worked all the time. And I would get it in my head all the time. When someone mentioned the title above, I thought, haha oh yeah, forgot about that song… don't even remember how it goes, she spells out bananas, that's all I remember… But, thank you, with just that little line,

Kinda related, "the probably shouldn't look for girlfriends at the precinct" was good. And Samburg made me laugh every time with those dumb fishballs.

Yeah, that pick up of Diaz was hysterical. I loved this episode. I liked, but didn't quite feel the first two eps of the season, this one had me laughing out loud an awful lot. As a NYC artist I loved the skewing of artists and the art world. That always makes me laugh.

I am done with my MFA, have worked at galleries and as an artist assistant (and waitress while trying to get my paintings out there) & I found the making fun of art kinda hysterical, and sadly true (to a degree). Maybe it's cause I'm a painter trapped in the hellhole NYC art world. But I get it to an extent, my pet
