I’m pretty it means in this district only. Trump “won” the district by 1% in Nov 2016. Historically the GOP presidential candidate has won by a lot more in this particular district (double digit I hear).

When you go to the eye doctor, they’re not just checking your prescription. They’re also checking for any signs of diseases or abnormalities. When you’re sticking a foreign substance in your eyes, I’m not going to take my chances.
In the US at least, eye doctors offer prescriptions for eyeglasses for 2 years and…

Thank you! He did have the chance to apply for citizenship between 1999 and 2001. But stuff comes up and most permanent residents assume they are safe from deportation.
I have been telling all my friends and family members to get their citizenship as soon as they’re eligible. It has never been a priority among some of…
I’ve also heard that just relying on counties is not the best way either. I’m not sure why, but perhaps it’s linked to the Illinois District posted above (encouraging representation in both Black and Hispanic populations).
Free state-issued IDs have been done, but it still places a hindrance on U.S. Citizens.
I’m going to take a guess. Poor full-time college students are usually covered by traditional financial aid. They tend to get a lot/all of their financial aid covered by various grants. Middle class students usually do not get a lot of need-based grants and their financial aid packages usually contain a lot of loans.
I am hoping that the billions of lawsuits (environmental, eminent domain, water rights, etc) will stop it.
Even people who are for the ACA don’t know its name. The Republicans did an excellent job in publicizing it as “Obamacare.” There have been multiple surveys where people agree with the major components of the plan (pre-existing conditions, under 26, etc), but hate “Obamacare.”
With gerrymandering and/or voter suppression, there are a lot of Republican dominated states (either through Republican governors and/or state legislators). I don’t know the exact numbers, but I’m pretty sure it’s at least over 25 states.
I don’t think she’ll get enough popular votes.
Yeah, Amber’s strength was her singing. She was a lackluster actor (who got better over the seasons) and a background dancer in the show. She was probably one of the weakest dancers of the main cast (besides Cory probably).
This is total BS. She and Harry Shum Jr were the best dancers on Glee. I consider them both professionals.
There have been people who danced professionally as children/young adults (like Alfonso Ribeiro), but it had been years (decades).
The only other Glee alum (I think she won) was not a professional dancer, but was…
Don’t do it! It was really depressing. (I watched like 2 episodes before I stopped.) And this was many months ago, way before the election.
Another really important question: do they cover the glory that is the formal denim/Canadian tuxedo duo?
Yes, it’s bonkers. There was a big thing about President Obama giving up his blackberry when he first started. He even had a recent conversation that they got him a newer phone (probably android), but it was secure/locked down (no camera, lots of locked functions).
While I’m very thankful for my public school education, I am tremendously grateful for the financial aid in the U.S. college system. I was able to graduate college with very little debt. This is unheard of in my native country (where there are very few scholarship and there are only private loans available).
If you’re talking about Ivanka brand, I don’t think it was ever high end. It’s equivalent to Jessica Simpson and other “fast fashion” brands that are mostly knockoffs or “inspirations” of other high-end brands.
If you’re talking about outlet/discount stores in general, most brands have different tiers. Michael Kors was…
A majority of the items sold in “outlet/discount” stores are made for them. It’s either the same design but made cheaper or a brand new design.
Chances are if you see multiples of the same item (in a variety of sizes), it’s probably made for the “outlet/discount.”
Bed bugs do not die in the washer so I would use the dryer first before I put it in the washer.
I believe it depends. The bigger chains (Goodwill and/or Salvation Army) may gather all donations in a regional location and sort them out.
I’m not an avid thriftier so I’m not sure if that’s actually true or not.
