No problem. I'm not a huge fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, but her support of PP is definitely not a reason to hate her. In fact, it would be quite the opposite. I think it's lovely.

Thanks. I guess it was really just the writer(s) that hated that, and not the commenters.

I bought my last fountain pen there. For a $15 pen, it’s pretty good value.*

I must have missed that. I thought Planned Parenthood was a good thing. Why did everyone shit over her PSA about it?

I feel like it falls under the BDSM umbrella, with dominants and submissives. The more well-written ones paint all the main characters as complex people.

I participated in a thread a few days ago because I was extremely ignorant that this kind of genre existed.

There's plenty of fully consensual sex in romance novels. Or are you talking about the more explicit erotica subgenre?

I live in Northern VA. I've been tempted to take a long weekend to drive down there, but it's a gamble.

You’re right. The above designers tend to run a little small.

That is adorable! I’m a huge fan of Kate Spade, even though I don’t own anything by her. I like her shoes, but they’re not the most comfortable. I like her bags, but I haven’t found one I liked.

I’m a huge of Red Valentino, but they’re very cutesy and the price point has kept me from owning more than a handful of pieces. But their dresses are fabulous..

I've moved on to other brands. I used to go in about every two weeks (I have several locations that are within 30 minute driving distances, and one near my office), but now I may go in like once every few months if I'm in the shopping center.

I bought my own keyboard and mouse to use for work. I can afford to spend $100 (probably spent less than that) so I can type and move my cursor more comfortably. Best decision ever.

I have a ton of older (mostly 2-5 years) clothing from Anthro. I even browsed the Anthro fan blogs on a daily basis (when there were dozens actively posting). I actually acquired most of them through sales (usually cut twice).

Which is a shame, because they already have a very lovely Coachella brand: Free People.

I didn’t know TJ had hard liquors! Unfortunately, the hard liquors can only be sold in VA state run liquor stores.

That's great! I grew up in PA, but now live in VA (where wine and beer are plentiful in grocery stores). Trader Joe's has the best oddball wine/beer, and many are a great value.

I’m enjoying it because of the funny. But the very specific male gene of that one family is getting annoying.

As I get older, I’m finding myself avoiding books with heroines/heroes much younger than me. (I’m in my early 30s.) While there are some good New Adult romances, I usually tend to avoid most of them like the plague. They’ve become a little too “Twilight” for me.

I absolutely adore her earlier works, but I just couldn't continue reading her when she started doing collaborations and journeying into the mystery/thriller category. It's made me sad, because she was really good at the contemporary romantic comedy "genre."
