I actually made my own Death Star playset out of thick cardboard boxes! Decorated with markers, cut out windows to look like that spider web design in the Emperor’s throne room and everything.

I sold all of my toys one summer a long time ago (circa 1990) at our yard sale, but the only toys I kept were my Star Wars figures, because I liked them the best. I did sell the larger SW things, like my Millennium Falcon, Ewok Village, AT-ST, Twin-Pod Cloud Car, & Rancor. I don’t care, I’m glad I sold all of that…

My neighbor’s bushes were Endor and my sandbox was Tatooine (obviously). Also, I had/still have the book-and-records for the OT, and those were a really great way to relive the movies at home back in the stone age before home video.

No, it’s insane how much figures cost now. It really sucks for parents who want to buy a bunch for their kids (and aren’t, you know, rich).

If all of your toys were heavily played with, they wouldn’t really be worth a whole lot (just to make you feel better).

My friend had that, and it was a lot of fun to play with. They manged to fit as many Death Starry things into that playset as they could, which was cool.

These are what I have, I’m watching Ep. 4 now and it looks a little grainy but otherwise totally fine. I guess I’m not that picky. I bought them when they first came out and they didn’t cost that much.
