I actually think the fallout from the election of Trump will be a long-term benefit for our country. People have been reminded how active participation is required to buoy a democracy.

If we learned anything from the first week of President Trump, is that his administration is just complete improvisation.

What angers me about all of Trump’s talk on the tariffs is the bullshit of it actually happening, besides any actual economic effect people talk about.

This is already pretty old, since it’s from way back in December. But there are probably people getting interested in Resisting actively who weren’t paying quite as much attention back then, so it bears mentioning.
