I don't know why this feels like the best piece of news today but I'm living for it. Good on them PS3 MGS players. 

Not a knock on you, Zack, but if a game came out today with that kind of busy style they would get destroyed in the reviews for looking outdated including here on kotaku, maybe even by you, after you posted this article.

I suspect the people who are deeply concerned about it’s portrayal of Japanese culture generally won’t really care that much about what actual Japanese culture thinks of it.

Sounds a little bit disappointing, tbh. When it was first announced, I was looking for/hoping for some sort of cool wandering samurai game where you get into intense blood feuds that culminate in amazing duels.
