@underscore: LOL! How awesome would that be?!

I really like this trend of tie-in novels for games. The Mass Effect ones were great, and I'm looking forward to this one as well.

I'm partial to New Arkham and Siege of Gotham, but some of these are just kinda weird sounding as well - People Forgot Ham?

@Wolfsheim: Very interesting, thanks for the info!

@redbess: Thank you! I thought I was going nuts, trying to find an episode or something that I'd miss.

@Dirk Anger: Wait, what? Seriously? But they taste so different!

@Xaoc: Based on this video, it looks like it's better constructed, but still just as dangerous to crash in as any other small car. Not definitive testing, for sure, but it certainly doesn't inspire confidence.

I don't really have a problem with using my real name on the internet if I choose (and I do, on a personal blog). My problem with this is that Blizzard isn't providing people with the option to show either their real name or a different single user ID across their entire account. I can certainly imagine scenarios

The real problem with the Smart car is that it's a deathtrap. Anyone who gets into an accident while driving one is going to be crushed because there's simply not enough material to prevent it.

@starbuck13: That was a joke, for those of you who are humor-impaired.

@rolsenrob: Completely setting aside the comment itself (a joke, silly me for thinking anyone might laugh without an obvious /sillycodereference), what makes you label me as elitist? Never thought it "scary" when a Star Trek nerd rattles off a quote from an obscure episode that no one will get? Or when a WoW junkie

The fact that so many here can name those creatures by sight is, I think, far scarier than any of the images.

@JohnnyricoMC: I'm gonna say it has to be a 3G or 3GS, unless the iPhone 4 can be downgraded from iOS 4.

@bowen13: Can I nominate this guy for a second star?

My game was Knights of the Old Republic.

Ersatz was on your word of the day calendar recently, wasn't it?

I'm curious about the efficiency of the battery and recycle-ability. Without those, I'm afraid this will be just another cool technology that's not actually useful.

@crypro: Setting aside the obvious error of "there are no enemies anymore", DARPA has one goal and one only - defense. Now if you were referring to the government in general needing to redirect funds from military spending towards the things you mention, that's something else entirely.

I look forward to the entrants next year who have begun growing a beard simply for this event. And those who take extra special care of the beard in order to win.

@Dan2593: Smith looks like he's got a freakishly long head in that picture. Maybe it's what got him the Who gig?
