The Project Offset stuff was some of the most gorgeous I think I've ever seen outside of tech demos. The fact that it was all up and running was so cool. Too bad Intel canned it.

Seems like this would be a pretty awesome hack for a car. Ditch the battery and wire it into the electrical system, throw a hard drive with your tunes on it, connect whatever sensors you like...that'd be worth the $400 to me.

I've run in lap pools before without too much difficulty. It's a workout for sure, but I'm not sure why you'd need this setup in order to do it.
