Reid's GIF is disqualified for not being a "challenge-flag-throwing-motion" but in actuality being him waving off a heinous bratwurst fart.

The Black Ops II one isn't so bad. It looks much like the game does when you're actually playing MP. So maybe there isn't always that much going on, or maybe there is, but you just don't notice it in the flurry of 30/60fps. But it's not impossible/shooped.
Where is TV heading? More specifically, are we doomed to networks continuing to buy "safe" pilots and cancelling more unique shows before they get a real chance? (Last Resort's cancellation disappointing me personally)
If I had such a excessive history my wives assaulting me, I'd stop saying "To be the man, you have to beat the man..."
But it wasn't even that. io9 ASKED Rob to bring it over. And then they cut it once they got some flak from the commentariat. It wasn't as if Rob decided on his own to go "Hey, know what a mass media audience would love? Poorly-written, sexually-deviant short stories featuring their favorite pop culture characters."…
Rob wasn't in the comments when I posted this.
I imagine most of us upset over the decision/announcement/process are familiar with your TR work, so we know you're capable of non-fanfic related brilliance.
I hate to drone on, but I think it's worth clarifying: I'm not outraged, I'm disappointed. I'm not going to stop reading io9 over this, I'm not clamoring for your resignation or any of that.
I've been a TR reader for years, so I understand Rob's awesomeness. If this had come about further on into his tenure here, where he was more exposed to the io9 readership, then maybe it wouldn't have hurt as much.
I feel the article may have even taken a "It's not Rob's fault" tone. But that doesn't matter. The outward appearance to people will be "Rob did this thing people didn't like, so we put a stop to it" which reflects poorly on him.
And now a week later we'll get the "Rob Bricken Had To Be Let Go" io9 post.
The Hitmen took exception to the one Teddy Bear dressed in a blue superhero costume that was dropped from the rafters down to the ice.
THERE... ARE... 4 (x 4)... LIGHTS!
This is clearly a ploy to distract the media from that nasty Thomas Crown affair.
Reali names some actresses he'd like to see on pay cable, i.e., naked. There's about 50 minutes of silence after that, followed by nine minutes of Al-Jazeera. After that, 40 more minutes of silence before the Carbonite ad that closes the program.
