I’m actually talking about being paid for that voting time. I know there are places that pull that scam, too, but every place I’ve ever worked paid you if you took time out of the day to vote.

Many places will give you a long lunch or whatever to vote, mainly because I believe many places aren’t sure if they legally have to and are just playing it safe, but yeah, they certainly won’t TELL you this.

The results of any presidential election will always be ~45% each for the Rs and the Ds. The total number of voters may fluctuate, but the end percentages will not. People are just too set in their ways and many vote not FOR their guy, but AGAINST the other.
