You see, for years I had always assumed she was just having a nice dream. It never even occurred to me that she had died, probably because if I were her, the last place I wanted to associate with heaven was the ship that crashed and sunk horribly causing hundreds of people to drown or freeze to death.

Waterworld was hellafun and I'll defend it to the end.

I don't have a TV or a computer or a cellphone or any sort of connectable device.

Gods and Generals was a very disappointing follow up/prequel, with the only exception being the execution of Lee's sneak attack at Chancellorsville. That was actually excellently done with the action slowly building up to a crescendo, and the score matching it.

I think it might have worked better if they told the story strictly from Rose's perspective as opposed to basically 50/50 Jack and Rose. Have Cal still as the man she's betrothed to against her will, but make him more believably bad and dimensional as opposed to the Snidely Whiplash stock trope that he's written as.

I predict this will suck and people will hate it.

He pushed aside all those people getting onto the lifeboats just to ensure that his love would be safe.

Your grandma sounds like an evil, manipulative bitch……may she rest in peace (crosses self).

Okay, I'm kicking myself for asking….but…..(takes deep breath)……was there a "going down" pun used at some point that evening?

I think you're actually referring to the 2000 Italian animated feature, Titanic:The Legend Goes On, which features a randomly rapping dog and actually is a real movie.

"Make up a character to create the drama then."

It was better under its original title,

There's a shot of Rose standing on the deck of the rescue ship as it pulls into New York harbor and you see the Statue of Liberty in the rain and it's just terrific.

I personally didn't get the "film event" experience with Titanic, but mainly because I think I waited about 7-8 weeks to see it.

So basically Wolf of Wall Street was compensation for losing the American Psycho role, then?

This Picasso fellow spits out nothing but utter garbage! Phooey!

Billy Zane's performance in the film as Snidely Whiplash is seriously underrated.

Leo Mania killed the image of Leo as a serious actor for a good 10 years or so. He had notable roles on What's Eating Gilbert Grape and A Boy's Life, then Titanic hit and he was on all the Teen Bob magazines.

Please don't tell me your mom was driving it while you were in the act.

From what I remember of the dialogue of Twister, it was mostly Helen Hunt screaming at Bill Paxton to drive through the cornfield.
