He was Jared Fogel's roommate.

The brief off-screen reference to Puppuza ("I swear on my Puppuza's ping pong eyes!") was the perfect balance. It reminded you enough of the original joke to make you laugh, without actually needlessly replaying the joke itself to the point where it gets stale.

The reference to the OJ trial in Season 1 seemed outdated at the time it aired, and yet became reversely relevant thanks to the American Crime Story and the documentary.

People who take memos of conversations?

I'm sure if someone searches the vast array of the various Word of the Day calendars for 1986, somewhere in there undoubtedly there has to be a "plenipotentiary" entry among them.

Perhaps False Light. It's a lower standard than regular libel/slander defamation and could hold up. Maybe not gain the type of damages as the latter, but at this point I think it's more about bringing the fact that their son's death is being exploited by shady fraudsters for political punditry.

He's gone Full Alex Jones.

Wait, Kim Dotcom said they were in contact?

Oh, Sean Hannity.

Never heard of her before coming across "Under your Spell" on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack. I have to confess I've hit repeat several times. Definitely am considering checking out the album now.
